Come discover 105 years of science at Grosse-Île!

The mission of this quarantine station was to fight against the spread of contagious diseases in Canada through ships transporting immigrants to the port of Quebec.

You will understand how medical and technological advancements, as well as renowned scientists, have played a central role in the evolution of the station, the history of immigration and public health in Canada.

You will see that the lessons learned on Grosse Île more than 100 years ago are still valid and more relevant than ever…
